The times during the Russian Revolution were not that great because living conditions were horrid, education was bad for the community and the country was poor. The Russian Revolution itself was in the year 1917 and lasted for about nine months. The Russian Revolution led to the establishment of the world's first Communist state, and the subsequent spread of Communism to other countries, some of which remain under Communist rule today. The Russian Revolution is mostly known for the Russian Empire, which collapsed with the abdication of Emperor Nicholas II.

It led to not only to a radical transformation of school itself but also of the way people conceived of learning and the relationship between cognition and language. It made children learn differently, and changed the way the children learned. This type of radical change did not help or advantage the children's learning. The education was organized by the leader, Joseph Stalin. The education program featured the advantages of total access for all citizens and of post-education employment. Education during this time was crucial to the success of the revolution, so many children attended education facilities. Most of the children that attended school came from wealthier families. All the children in Russia were typically supposed to attend schools but not all of them did. The way the children conceived and learned language changed throughout the year of the revolution. The education in the Russia and during the Russian Revolution was also different because Education also took a major upswing, and illiteracy was almost entirely eradicated. Those education problems led to some other events that occurred. Although the Russian Revolution did not make life any better, it did have some good aspects even though life wasn't that good. Some of the aspects which made life better for the country and the citizens of Russia. These aspects are that the schooling was good but the way the revolution impacted wasn’t.
