Communicating effectively is important in developing positive relationships with Children, Young People and Adults because it enables the ability to take away a positive out of certain situation's and makes an individual feel valued. Effective communication also promotes self esteem and confidence. Coming across in a positive and respectful manner makes a child more comfortable with opening up and expressing their feeling's. A benefit of this type of communication is that it promotes trust between Children and adults. Different individuals require different types of communication so depending on the person style needs to be adapted accordingly.
