Effective Leaders In Animal Farm
Effective leaders can inspire individuals. In various countries, leaders carry different characteristics that can influence their surroundings. “Animal Farm” written by George Orwell portrays different aspects of the Russian Revolution how?. In fact, parallels are found within the different animals of this novel. With the traits that animals were given, Orwell makes it visible to the reader on which character portrays the antagonist and protagonist. A leader who is trustworthy, open-minded and clever can help achieve a variety of goals that may improve lives of others.

Firstly, a leader who is trustworthy can build a bond between his or hers supporters. Leaders need to be reliable; if a leader or ruler proposes an idea, his or hers’

Ultimately having an open-mind can develop key skills that a leader should have such as; listening skills, enthusiasm and so on. When leading a group, having an open mindset will attract people. As Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau says “I’m keeping an open mind.” This can create more of a personal connection with his supporters. He is sending a message out that he is willing to listen to any concerns or ideas. Listening and letting supporters know that the leader is aware can be a helpful skill as a responsible leader. Often leaders talk about their aspirations and goals, yet some do not strive to achieve the goals themselves. Actions speak louder than words, in rare cases sometimes, words are more powerful to human beings than actions. For example, Napoleon from Animal Farm only spoke but never acted. Taking opinions into consideration and solidifying his or hers’ loyalty does not harm anyone. Leaders do not always have to use their supporters’ ideas and knowledge but allowing them to contribute and building on ideas can help create innovative ideas. In other words, if leaders are given and use others’ proposals or not, the thought and genuine consideration is what counts. The whole idea might not be used but parts of the idea can be added onto a project or decision. Having open mindset can help academically and personally.
