There are so many law students in Mae Fah Luang University who study very hard in class but they still do not have a good grade as their expectation. It may be one of the reasons of why law students in MFU have dropped out early from the university. Low achievement of law student problem has inspired this study. This research may help them by finding the way of self-study strategies from out-standing or excellent students and apply the self-study strategies to students who have problem with studying .This research paper aims to identify the self-study strategies in which excellent or out-standing students employ. In the content of this study, self-study strategies involve time management, studying environment, and note taking. From the statistic of the number of the students in Mae Fah Luang University who drop out early, law students are the highest number of drop out early rate. We hope that if law students who have the problem try to adapt the solution that we have found from the research by collecting the data and information about self-study strategies from excellent students, it may improve their learning skill, their study performance and also increase their grade. And the research question is:
To what extent self-strategies employed by excellent law students can be applied with low achievement students? From the study, the first self-study strategy that excellent law student employed is time management. Time management can help you to be aware of how to use your time and also help you in organizing, prioritizing, and succeeding in you studying. There are
