Sometimes I think about the problems and effects that colonialism have caused in the world. Is it good or bad? “Colonialism has always had a bad reputation.” I suppose in essence, for the people being colonized, it can be a good thing. The world is scramble for colonies, particularly in the 19th and 20th century had a huge negative effects on economic, social, and political structures of homegrown people try to use for the benefit of the colonizing country. “Colonialism is the extension of a nation’s sovereignty of territory and people outside its boundaries, often to advance economic domination over the resources, labor, and markets.” There’s also a set of beliefs used to promote this system, especially this belief that the mores of the colonizer

The world is scramble for colonies, particularly in the 19th and 20th century had a huge negative effects on economic, social, and political structures of homegrown people. The idea of this is to take resources from one country to another. . Colonialism created a situation where they divided people, they united them. If you look at South Africa now, you’ll find they have 11 national languages and if you ignore Africans and English which are Europeans arrivals there are 9 native African languages. Now 5 of those are distinct languages, if you look and listen to them you can see there are very similar. There are similar enough, you can call them dialects of the same language, except that when missionaries linguistic divided up the territory, by giving the French, British, and German some of it. They used it to teach literacy, to convert people to Christianity, and when Independence came, the people who spoke those languages as far as they was concern these were distant languages,and so they even continue to be this day.
Literature is a very powerful tool that is used to make a huge impact on society or in someone's perspective. Literature comes in different forms and each literature form fits in a certain category or role to help understand the true meaning of it. From playwrights to short stories, each one has moral lesson, a message or a reflection of the author. I have witnessed the power of literature several times. Literature has moved us a teens to better being; it has motivated unfortunate people to fame, used as an educational process of teaching and most of all,
