Of course it depends on what kind of person you are but commonly outsiders or outcasts are very strong willed people with a kind of grit and perspective people admire. On top of that, they have a freedom that most don’t. They don’t have all those extra relations and connections that are constantly tying them down. On the negative side of things being an outsider is not for everybody and under certain situations being socially isolated may lead to an elevated feeling of loneliness, which can unfortunately lead to depression.
Outcasts are essential and in many cases are celebrated and respected. They had to learn the hard way of developing themselves without the influence of others. Commonly outcasts are the strongest willed people out there. This mindset has given them a perspective of the ridiculous things that some groups do that most of the ‘insiders’ are oblivious too. They have time to observe, listen and process everything that happens around them without the obligation of having to participate. This quality allows them to make decisions based on their wants and desires. Also, outcasts know that the world around us isn’t as easy as it seems and there are ins and outs all over. An example would be that the world is more so whom you know, rather than what you know. So they made themselves into handworkers and had to learn the value of dedication early on in order to succeed.
Generally speaking being an outsider is thought as not having an abundance of connections this means they don’t have anything or anyone that ties them down. An outsider’s self-reliance is something very looked up too and one of the biggest qualities. They were forced to learn and love themselves for them and who they built themselves to be. They’re
