After my graduation, I began my military career. In 1942, I was promoted to chief of staff. In his year, the United States engaged in a war with countries part of Axis Power(shake head disagreeing with the enemy's cause). My knowledge of this war impressed General Marshall which got me a promotion. My new rank was Supreme Allied Commander in London which put me in charge of the the largest military invasion in history. His war is known as D-Day. …show more content…
I was buried at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, Kansas next to the house I grew up in.
Before I died I became president and during my presidency I strengthened Social Security and created a massive new Interstate Highway. And so I am remembered for the things I have done and by the different exhibits representing me they are around the United
