Elder Abuse And Self-Neglect

Elder abuse is defined as a single act, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an exception of trust, which causes harm or distress to an older person. To break that definition down and put into types of abuse, is it could be physical, sexual, neglect, exploitation, emotional, abandonment and self-neglect. Now all of those do happen and those are terrible things that have been done by people that were supposed to be taking care of the elderly. This paper would be a lot longer it I had write about all of those but I'll be writing about one of the seven. A few of these abuses get talked about when you mention elderly people.
