Project 4: ATM
AIM
In this project, you will examine the effect of ATM adaptation layers and service classes on the performance of the network. You will set up an ATM network that carries three applications: Voice, Email, and FTP. You will then study how the choice of the adaptation layer as well as the service classes can affect the performance of the applications. You will prepare a report that includes the answers to the questions, given on the last page, as well as the graphs you generated from the simulation scenarios. You will also discuss the results you obtained and compare these results with your expectations.
