Elements of an Effective Coalition
The general definition of a coalition is an association or associations whose individuals focus on concurred agreements, decisions and shared basic leadership goal to influence an outside foundation or target, while each member of the association keeps up its own particular autonomy (Cramer et. al, 2006). For example, in public health alliances, European Union smoke free is a collation that has been effective.
An effective coalition has definitive objectives, laws, members or groups from different set ups, mission and vision. It is necessary for a coalition to establish a structure of leadership, roles and procedures that address their purpose for instance National League for Nursing …show more content…
The elements are also important in my life, because at one point, you will find yourself in a given coalition, as a leader or member the effective leadership, adaptive capacity and other elements discussed can help me enhance the growth and sustainability of the coalition I belong. Effective strategies in my profession can help me improve the quality of life in different areas (Shapiro et. al, 2013).
