Elijah's Story: The Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is a beautiful place that is located in Arizona filled with nature and ancient stories. The Grand Canyon is valued for its combination of size, depth, and exposed layers of colorful rocks dating back to Precambrian times. There are a multiple stories of why the Grand Canyon was made. But only one story was correct. There lived a young man named Elijah Canyon, in the village of Big Springs. Elijah was a brave, intelligent, and a very subtle boy. Every morning, Elijah used to wake up at 4:30, and provide the plants with water. After giving the plants water, he used to feed the animals some vegetables and give them water as well. And then later on in the day, he used to help his friends, family, and other people who needed help. Every boy his age has always been jealous of him. Even the village king, King Aryan. King Aryan was always angry of Elijah for being better than him. Elijah got punished by King Aryan …show more content…
The villagers forced King Aryan to go there and get Elijah back, and well, he did. KIng Aryan went to the the place to get Elijah back, and when he got there, he saw that Elijah was feeding the animals. As always, King Aryan got mad at Elijah for no reason. KIng Aryan went up to Elijah and rudely told him to go back to the village. But Elijah was stubborn and kindly told King Aryan that he will not come and that the King should leave. With the disrespect, King Aryan got disappointed in Elijah and pushed him thinking he will only fall on the ground, but sadly, Elijah fell down from the cliff and never came back. The King was afraid of going back to the village thinking that the villages will hate him and and never do what he say. But before he went, he saw a bunch of villagers behind him screaming and crying and being sorrow in the death of Elijah Canyon, the bravest boy in the Village of Big Springs . Later, the kind villagers named that pretty place, The Grand Canyon, after Elijah
