Elizabeth was more moderate than her father and her half siblings had been. Her father was cruel and had 6 wives ( executed 2, divorced 2).He separated the Church of England. Elizabeth's Sister Mary made it even worse by burning to death people with protestant beliefs. People all lived in fear. But when Elizabeth took the throne, she made England a protestant Country which made England one country again. This is just one of the many things that Elizabeth did to make England Stable again.

For example the Spanish Armada. The Spanish thought that they were attacking by surprise, but Elizabeth knew what was going on and she and her army were prepared and won! Another example is when Elizabeth fell in love with a young man called Robert, Earl of Essex. She thought that he loved her too but when she found out that she was plotting against her she had him executed. She also made a speech called the Golden Speech in 1601. She told the people of England about how much she loved them. She was a stable and consistent Queen and her sharp wits and clever mind helped navigate the nation through political
