Elizabeth Bennet Comparison

The sisters Jane Bennet and Elizabeth Bennet have very many similarities and differences. These two sisters are the most respected sisters out of the five Bennet sisters that there are. The two of them would do anything to keep their families name respectable unlike their other sisters who are just worried about wealth , while Jane and Elizabeth go after men who can help their families reputations out,have money, and who they have a connection with. The two of them also met their lovers at the ball. Both of their significant others were rejected by their family. The two of them are also very kind and care immensely about one another. Within these similarities the two sisters are also very different also, for many reasons.

Jane Bennet is the sister is known to be prettier and she is not as smart as her sister. Jane is the type of person who can easily trust people. When Jane meets someone she easily just focuses on the god in person rather than the bad and if someone did something wrong she is the type of person to look past whatever happened. Mr. Bennet sees her as someone who won’t be able get through some simple things that happen in life because she looks for the good in everyone so people will continuously do her wrong because they know that she will be past it. While on the other hand her sister is completely different.
Elizabeth Bennet is the smarter of the two.
Elizabeth does not trust people as easy, she has to be proven to have trust in someone. Her having to have reasons in order to trust in other people is good because then she want be done wrong as much as her sister would be. Elizabeth is the type of person to judge the first time that she meets someone. She is quick to point out that person’s flaws. Elizabeth is very proud of her own self and thinks that she is too good for some
people.

If theses two characters were to exist in the modern world today, Elizabeth would be the sister who would be more successful. Elizabeth would be the more successful sister because of how she can handle situations and herself. Elizabeth looks after herself well, which is good because it will her in the long run in life. Since she does not trust people that will help her out because in a modern world today there are many people out there that are out there to do better and destroy a person just so they can get what they want, and with a mindset like Elizabeth’s she would be able to get pass situations like that because she likes to take time to trust people.

In conclusion, this is how the Bennet sisters are similar and different all at once, and Elizabeth would be the one to survive in a modern day society. The sisters are alike because they are both kind people and look after each other and have each others backs. They are different because Jane trusts people easily and Elizabeth needs time in order to have trust in someone. Since Elizabeth takes time in order to be bale to trust people, she would be the sister who would be able to survive a modern day society.
