Empathy For Feed The Children
According to Campbell-Avenell (n.d.), two examples of leadership best practices in terms of Craig Kielburger’s behaviors and actions consistent with the principles and practices of authentic leadership include:
Show empathy: Craig shows empathy for the Feed the Children charity. For example, Craig had felt terrible about the aid dollars being redirected to Afghanistan because that was where the media was directing its influence. Craig was focused on the poor country of Sierra Leone who was forgotten about. He felt bad for them and realized that if they left, Sierra Leone would be helpless.
Lead by example: Craig is involved in all of the missions for Feed the Children. For example, Craig provided a Rescue Home for children freed from slavery (provided them with shelter, clothing, food, medical, and counselling) before returning them to their families and communities.

Transformational leadership theory: in my second example, I had to find ways to teach my second replacement without becoming harsh or short-tempered. I had to transform my replacement by inspiring her and being flexible with myself and my own rules. I had to adapt to her pace and structure.
