You’re so right! layoffs are not the way to go. When I return to work after my days off, I always notice that someone is missing at my job. The company I work for, hires seasonal workers during the holiday season for about 3 months. After that, they are laid off due to not enough work. So, with seasonal employees, they really can’t sue for being laid off or claim wrongfully termination. Either way, companies don’t have to give a reason to why they are letting people go because we are an at-will employee and employer’s take advantage of this protection.
We have self-check out machines at Walmart. There’s robots that are used in factories to build cars, candy bars, and electronics and more. These machines based technology is taken over the
