The speakers are my favorite aspect of this course. Mrs. Smith was favorite speaker; although she is my advisor, I always enjoy hearing her talk about the field that is so dear to my heart. The EMT that came and spoke to us was one of my favorites thus far. He answered all of our questions to the best of his abilities and explained the differences/levels that an EMT may be. Next year I will be applying to graduate school and finishing my time here at Middle Tennessee State University. This course will always remind me that the health care field offers a gamut of opportunities to me. Now that I have knowledge about the requirements, salary, and schedules of so many health care employment opportunities, developing an educated back up plan this summer should be a moderately easy task. As Mackel said, most of us will end up using our back up plan. I hope that is not the case with myself, but one can never be to prepared. I have been looking into many options, but I have not found on that suited me yet. Hopefully I will be able to find a career that interests me as much as speech language
