As VP of Marketing, I worked with a creative and enthusiastic team to bring awareness of our local projects to the community that empowers individuals through social entrepreneurial action. During this process, I oversaw departments that included public relations, graphic design, social media, and branding. As well as assessing the marketing efforts of Enactus SAIT and its effect on the campus and community. This opportunity led into the development of another project called Scaling Summits. The aim was to tackle the low computer literacy among young females in Nepal and empower them with employable skills through locally donated computer equipment. As part of the internal team, I helped work on the complex logistics of flying our team to Nepal and creating an easy to learn curriculum that would be taught to a select group of classrooms. In late December 2016, I created a proposal and negotiated official sponsorship of the SAIT Management Society with SAIT’s School of Business. As President, I wanted to push the envelope of what student clubs could become and that required wielding a vision that inspired people. That meant focusing on why we did things rather than just the results we produce.
