Engaging In Organized Activities

Although engaging in creative play is important for children to express themselves, I feel that participating in organized activities is more important. Organized activities has the benefit of learning commitment, which is important during adult years. Another benefit is that children will learn identity and pride. Organized activities appear to have more important benefits to me than imaginative ones. Commitment is learned during organized activities, which is important for ones older years. Adults use commitment in a variety of aspects in life. Marriage and relationships revolve around ones commitment with another person. Also, commitment in a workplace is important because it creates trust and leads to many opportunities.
Organized activities that teach commitment will benefit a child a lot in their future. Organized activities also appears to teach a child identity and pride. I feel that pride and identity are important for many obstacles that a child will endure in life. During teeanage years, identity will help to guide a person in which direction they want to go in life. Also, identity will help one to surround themselves with certain interests and groups that fit their character. Pride is important as well. A child may need pride to stand up to a bully or perpertrator. Also, pride is needed to overcome many challenges and without it, one may fail. Learning pride and identity in organized activities help to shape a person later in life. I feel that organized activities are more important than imaginative ones. Organized activities has important benefits that will help in the future such as commitment, identity, and pride. One will overcome many obstacles in life by learning from organized activities, and that to me is important.
