English 111 Reflection

During this English 111 class I have learned how to become a better writer and how to plan out my essays before I write them. My attendance in the class I think has been well, I was always in class unless I had an emergency or illness. I rate myself in my attendance an 8 because I would always come unless I had a reason not to. I was active in class discussions most of the time and kept up with doing my lessons. In being active in class discussions I rate myself as a 7 because I could have participated more than I did and been more interactive in the discussions we had. I would most of the time come to class prepared, but sometimes I would leave my computer at home, but the class would have computers for people without a computer to use. I would rate myself a 6 in this area because I always forget things and losing stuff and need to improve mostly in this area. The area I did best in is my attendance, I would always be in class unless I had a good reason to not to be. The part I didn’t put forth the best effort is my class discussions because I didn’t want to say something wrong and look bad in front of the class. My next English class I will be more prepared and more organized so I can do better in my class, I will also become more active in class discussions, even if I am wrong I can learn what is right
The source that I would use to better my paper is The Writing Center and Paperratter. The Writing Center in the learning center helped me understand my topics that I had to write about more deeply. I also have improved on my writing conventions because paperrater would show me words to help me correct my grammar and show me if I misspelled words.
