English 120 Reflective Report

Reflective Writing on “How will my writing classes help me learn to write or compose?” I took English 110 last semester and this semester I am taking English 120. Now that the semester is about to end the time has come to write reflective letter discussing all the learning outcomes I gained from English 110 and English 120 especially English 120. English classes I took in high school were easy. The first ever challenging English class I took was English 110. It was a great class for me. I got chance to learn many new things from this class. At the beginning of class, I didn’t have any experience in writing papers like memoir, arguments, building websites etc. I wrote many papers in high school but none were in the caliber of English110.After my first class in English 110 I realized I that I will have to work a lot hard to I had experience in writing papers but I felt that I needed more experience. Along with that I also knew I needed to practice more because my English writing skills weren’t that great. This semester I took English -120 it was tuff but with the help form my instructor and peers’ I could learn
Throughout the semester in English 120 we encountered Rhetorical Situation and genre, grammar and usage and reflection. I learned to plan strategies and calmly analyze evidence and claims and choose medium of writing as per the rhetorical situation from SLO A “rhetorical situation and genre. I learned to improve my fluency in standard writing from SLO D & E” grammar and usage”. This SLO also helped me improve my grammar and writing abilities. I have gained research abilities and learned to become more independent form SLO G & H.I learned to focus on the research question.
