English 202a Reflection
In the beginning of the English 202A, I was excited that I had an opportunity to take this class with Duffy. In English 15, I learn a great deal about my writing skills such as my ability to be precise in my concept and A different approach to write an introduction. Prior to taking this course, I did not have a clear understanding of how doing APA format. As a writer, one of my biggest flaws is having grammar problems which I have improved on since taking English 15 with you. Reflecting back on my work was difficult for me due to the fact that I wasn’t sure how I should rank these essays. Also, this semester I suffered from reader’s block when writing Essay 2 and Essay 3.
One of my struggles in this course, was writing a causal argument about child sexual abuse and its effects it has on the male victims, the female victims and their families. It was difficult to read all these articles and not include my

Reflecting back on this essay, I realize that I could have done better if I didn’t wait until the last minute to look for the articles. When I was getting feedback on this Essay, I thought I didn’t do well but in actuality the person reading said that they like this paper and I had strong points. Which made me feel better even though I was struggling to put this paper together, I was still able to make it clear to my reader what it was, I was trying to convey. I notice that the same struggle I faced in English 15 was the similar to what I encounter this semester. For instance, I knew what I want to convey to my reader but it was hard to find articles to support my topics. In my opinion, my best paper was the argument of definition paper titled “Decisions: Termination of Women’s Rights or Death of Potential Life?”. This essay is ranked number one because it was one of favorite topic to talk about. Abortion is a controversial topic that is viewed

Although some of the work were tedious and sometimes frustration at times, but overall it was a fun class to be in and was a great learning experience as well. I had to take this class not because I failed to secure an 8 in the WST test but because I had problems mainly due to my poor writing. Throughout the class this quarter I experienced many methods and different types of writings and essays. The writing homework took time, and several ideas and sometimes google searches to make it a good essay I can score marks on, but in return, I learned skills and techniques…

When it comes to writing papers, I usually have a difficult time getting started. I sometimes have trouble with certain topics, getting the general concept, and then turning it into a writing that will get my point across. I feel as if I’m not very creative with my words as I should be without sounding so scattered brained and lost. I was a little nervous when entering English 1102, after having such a difficult time in English 1101 online. At first I did feel at ease but once we got to doing research on a particular food and the articles, I did have some challenging moments. In in the end I did pull my works together and I plan on sharing some of my reflections while taking a look back on a couple of my papers.…

    Reflection On English 111

English 111 is the first college English class I have taken, but despite that I feel I would be able to bring a lot into this class. First of all, I enjoy writing and reading, so I am enthusiastic about my work. I love to learn, which means reading textbooks is not a problem for me (especially ones on grammar; I own a few of those myself). When I write, I try to be as objective as I can, and although I may have opinions I find that I can easily put those aside to write an unbiased essay. However, when writing a persuasive paper, I am able to fully support the cause I am writing about, whether or not I truly agree with it. Lastly, I am a helpful person and often one who is called on to assist my peers when necessary. I am a quick leaner and take good notes, so helping others is often an easy task for me, but when I cannot be of assistance, I do my best to help them find someone who will help.…

Finding structured, well-thought-out arguments relating to abortion proves rather troublesome. An anti-abortion paper especially usually carries with it the refrain “Abortion is murder!” perennial in slightly alternative ways. (One cannot facilitate however see irony in pro-lifers complaints that pro-choosers caricature and quarrel them, once the standard of the many of their essays suggests they're caricatures and polemicists.) A distressing share of those anti-abortion essays are written by Christian-private-school-educated ladies, WHO is solely capable of parroting, no matter anti-abortion info was fed to them. Conversely, pro-choice arguments usually assume abortion could be a woman’s right, and so proceed from there. It will play some terribly frustrating reading.…

Nursing has been given the idea that a lot of writing is not needed after nursing school, but that assumption is incorrect. Nurses have a lot of daily task, many of them need good writing and comprehension skills which can be developed in English 101 and English 102 classes.
