be a tough journey but I'm positive I'm capable of enduring this.
My personal goal for this class is to receive a minimum grade of 80% or a B. English isn't my best subject, but I hope what I learn in this class will help me appreciate literature more than before. To achieve my goal, I will need to study and give my full effort. You only get out what you put in, to me this means I need to put in 100% of what I can and only then I'll achieve excellence. One of my weakest points in English is reading. I've never been fond of reading; reading has always been my lowest score on the ACT. I will have trouble with reading but I hope after this course is finished, I can look at literature in another way rather than seeing it as a bunch of random words on a page of a novel. Another problem I will encounter is my access to a computer out of school. I'm not gifted with having a computer at my house, so I will have to be responsible and use my time wisely. I'll have to work on my assignments in the library on my own time and study independently for a certain amount of hours out of class. As my teacher, I expect you to give me personal help whenever I have a question, or am in need of your assistance. It'll be hard because of the other students that occupy your class, but if I'm really unsure or confused on a topic, I am sure to let you know through email or during a
break where I am free. I'm expecting this class to become close with one another, as a family would be. To provide care, love and support for each other when it is needed. No negative talk or comments because we are all trying to succeed together. This is one of my AP classes out of two (other being AP Biology), and I expect myself to have a plentiful amount of homework. There are no excuses, I cannot promise to reach my personal goal, but I will definitely strive for it. No matter the challenge at hand, I will conquer it and eventually surpass it.
