DRUG ABUSE IS THE MOST SOCIETAL PROBLEM IN MALAYSIA
In today’s modern and fast paced society, it is crucial for teenagers to face challenges by themselves and begin their adulthood life earlier than the generations before. This is the reason why almost big percent of them have already become matured earlier than the age they are supposed to. Perhaps, some of them can deal with varieties of difficult situations and battles.
However, not all of them are able to confront with the situations. When this thing occur, they will start to ruin their life and most importantly, their golden age which is the only chance for them to get prepared for a brighter future. Depression, violence, substance abuse, and bullying are all serious issues that may arise when teenagers are unable to deal with challenging time. Not only that, they will start to commit serious crime. The thing that is unacceptable the most is that some of them are involved in drug abuse, which undeniably will totally ruin their life. For some of the teenagers, illicit substance use and abuse become part of the landscape of their teenage years, including the abuse of drugs. For them, drugs is the most desired way to forget all the depressions they endured, and they may just forget all the things happening around them within just few minutes. It is true that drug is a type of medicine that can be used to cure diseases, however, it also has physiological effects that will
