The first text is called “Man Takes First Steps on the Moon.” The text is about a close step by step live

of what is happening when man first landed on the moon. This text is divided into three parts. The first

part is talking about each event from its first departure from earth to the first landing on the moon of

what is happening. It recorded every single words and conversations the astronauts had. It tells us what

happened until ten minutes after the first landing on the moon. The second part of the text is about brief

events from the moment Armstrong stepped off the ladder from Eagle and on to the moon's surface.

This text tells us the time of each even happening. Neil Armstrong said “That's one small step for man,

but one great leap for mankind.” as he stepped on the lunar surface. The third part of the text is

basically about some commentaries from the world. It tells us what the world think about the first

landing on the moon. All the commentary said that this is one of the greatest moments and achievement

of our time and the greatest drama in the history of man. The speaker of this entire text is “The Times”

and the audience is the whole world. The subject of this text is about the landing on the moon for the

very first time in the history of the world. The purpose was the show the world what happened during

the process of the landing on the moon. This text uses ethos, pathos, and logos. The use of ethos is this

text are the Astronauts, President Nixon, the Pope, and many more important persons. This builds

credibility for the whole entire text because it was not just random, unknown person who created this

text. It was created by The Times and was supported by many important peoples listed above. The use

of pathos in this text can be seen at the third part of the text. Where all people commented on the event.
