Textual evidence that supports the thesis is in document B it explains “ if one, religion only were allowed the government would very and become unrestrained, if there were 2 people would cut one another's throats, but as there are such a multitude they all live happy and in peace.” This buttresses Voltaire's main idea because it shows that multitudes of religions make people all live happy and in peace.
Adam Smith's main idea/ argument is trade and economic decision, also for people to pursue his own interest. It says “ By pursuing his own interest that when he really intends to promote it.” This textual evidence can support Adam Smith's main idea because it shows that Adam Smith wanted people to pursue his own interests.
Mary Wollstonecraft's main idea was women should be treated the same way as men and rights for all individuals. A quote that concludes her main belief “ of leading women to fulfill their peculiar duties is to free them from all restrain by allowing them to participate in the inherent rights of mankind.”With this in mind it shows that Mary Wollstonecraft wanted women to be treated equally the way men were
