busy drive thru or lobby is
The processes and visible and back room
McDonald what you can see of the work area and backroom look very disorganized and not a presentation.
Wendy’s of what I can see has a nice clean work area and backroom and presentation is wonderful. Burger King of what I can see need some work done in their work area and backroom could not see that well. It seems okay.
I think technology is about the same in all three. They are up to date in the latest models
In Speed Service I really believe it’s the workers of each store. What I notice at Wendy’s is that their team has a wonderful spirit and warm feeling trying to go out their way to get your food fast and hot. Both McDonald’s and Burger king workers or team need a lot of customer service and speed training. I think the owners should do a special drive by or send someone in to do a surprise visit.
On Capability and flexibility: All restaurants has a nice size capacity because most were just remodeled and in flexibility again it’s up to the management team as to what they are willing to do to get your business on that certain
day.
All restaurants are computer controlled. Just think if they had to be Manual, what a mess.
Does their processes and control system match up with their marketing; While doing this visit I never notice things but I really was excited about Wendy and their process and control system because I feel it match with their marketing but McDonald and Burger King will leave your visiting experience with a lots of questions wanting to know who trained who and who’s in charge. Their processes and control system does comes close to their marketing.
