Enterprise Rent a car is a multibillion dollar industry leader in the car rental business. The company was founded in 1957 and generates annual revenue of 10.1 billion with over 900,000 cars in its fleet and with the help of 66,000 employees. The company was build on the idea that the biggest ideas are the simplest and should be customer focused. “Take care of your customers and your employees first and growth and profits will follow” (Jack Taylor, founder of Enterprise)1 Company operates fleet management business, commercial truck rental business and car sales business. Enterprise is the largest recruiter of college graduates in USA and hires around 8000 college graduates a year. Also, this company holds an award of “50 Best Places to Launch a Career”

Employee training: Employees in Enterprise are hired through management training program and internship programs. Management training program is the first step towards becoming a partner at enterprise and opening / running your own car rental business. This program gives trainees opportunity to learn their business from ground level and up. Trainees will learn necessary business skills from reading profit/loss statements and networking and making even more successful. First employees start in management trainee program and with time and once seniority is build they move up the business chain and can become area managers or specialize in some specific area of the business.

How they Meet Customer Needs:

Enterprise specializes on renting vehicles to the customers that are in urgent need of a vehicle. They work with insurance companies to provide vehicles to their clients after their car accident, theft or when customers car is being repaired or serviced and they need a replacement for that time being.
