Assignment Question 1
Breaking up the market into segments by the Entrepreneur can be the key to a small business’s success. The beauty of target marketing is that it makes the promotion, pricing and distribution of the Business’ products and/or services easier. The process could be carried out on the basis of Geographic, Demographic and Psychographic considerations. The process could also help identify feasible business opportunities; but the Entrepreneur needs to answer several questions including the following: Is there a customer base for you in your chosen target market?
Critically evaluate the above statements and emphasise their significances to the success of the Entrepreneur and the Business.
