1. What ignited the spark in you to start a new business venture or to make significant changes in an existing business? How did the idea for your business come about? Actually I decided to enter the business field following my father’s achievements. My father owned a convenient grocery store in the past. I worked for a while in it, and after I finished my associated degree, I decided to rent a shell gas station. 2. How do you find people to bring into your organization that truly care about the organization the way you do? At the beginning, I hired my brother to help me running the gas station. After it started getting busier, we hang signs on the door that says “We are hiring.” Anybody who comes asking for the job, we ask them for a CV and at least three references to make sure they are trustworthy. 3. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur? a. Most important one is to be confident in what you do. b. Being organized and knowing how to manage your time and paperwork. c. Knowing how to motivate yourself especially in the bad days. 4. What three pieces of advice would you give to college students who want to become entrepreneurs? a. Never be afraid. b. Learn how to be a moderate risk taker. c. Be organized. 5. How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life? At the beginning, we suffered because my income wasn’t enough, but as the days moved on, we started getting better.
