1) I did not see any author and I was skeptical about entering the site as it had a security certificate warning.
2) Other than informational gain I don’t see any other profit. Naval Facilities engineering
3) It does cite reliable source, such as the EPA web site
4) Yes it is unbiased and appears to be all facts no opinions
5) RSC.org also discusses environment risk assessment and is written by a Dr. who seems to have extensive credentials.
6) Yes it is a reliable source. It is a government website it references other notable sources.
Article 2:
1) In this article there is a noted author Dr Salvatore Hernandez. The article only shows he is a Doctor in religious studies. Hardly an expert in environmental issues.
2) I don’t see any profit coming from this article as it is all opinion.
3) He does site the EPA but for other statistics refers the reader to local resources.
4) The article is very biased, very opinionated, does not give any information from the other perspective.
5) EBSCOhost.com has an article for the other perspective on green living being expensive to start but in the long run saving quite a bit. Has great resources and other sites to support his opinion where as this article is lacking.
6) I don’t think this is a reliable source because this person is not an expert in the subject matter it lacks proven facts, research, and appears to be mostly opinion.
Article 3:
1) This final article has an author as well and has noted experience in the subject matter he is doctor and does research for NREL.
2) I think there is profit to be mnade from this article as it is giving an alternative for fuel it provides information and statistics on the difference between other alternative fuel sources.
3) The article does site several companies that support biofuel. I feel though all the reseach that was done for this article was done in the company’s own labs and
