Across the United States they poor community and neighborhoods bear an unequal burden from hazardous facilities and waste sites. President Clinton signed an executive ordering required federal agencies to develop “Environmental Justice Strategies” meaning to find a way to fix the pollution problem that everyone having.
The Whites are insisting and continuing placing polluted dumps and unsafe sites near the blacks and Hispanic area.
Their disposing it there because they know it would not matter to them. Yet, did they fail to understand, it matters to some. To tell, garbage transfer station nobody wants near the predominantly black Harlem neighborhood are being placed there. Things like garbage dumps and toxic waste sites tend to locate in the Non-white and Hispanic area like Charleston. In 1992, county said “Race had nothing to do with picking the spot”. Despite the civil rights movement of the 1960’s, the issue of environmental racism popped up often, including the 1990’s and the present. Due to environmental racism, people around the world are being treated unfairly in their hometown/community because of low-income levels, having a disability or their race; but does that give them the right (Whites) to dispose dumping sites in the black community? Does that give them the right to treat and disrespect our community because it’s not their city, hometown, community and etc. “NO” Some diseases and disabilities that have an environmental component are unequal distributed across race and income levels. Some diseases not getting good care because of how much money they have and the race they are. Millions are of people suffer from Environmental racism and would like to put a stop to because it’s not right and fair to treat human being such as their self and put the dump site in the Non-popular …show more content…

On the other hand, high income payers tend to seek great value and the benefit of not having Dumps and Polluted areas in their Homes/Communities.
Separate residential or districts have limits for white and Negro residents. U.S minorities have been placed in separate areas for a long time as noted in the article “Environmental Justice”. The poorest people in the world, who have had virtually nothing to do with causing “Global Warming”, will be high on the list of victims as climatic disruptions intensify. Warren County was one of the poorest counties in the state, and had the highest percentage of black residents. The researchers found strong links between race or ethnicity and exposure to toxic air pollutants, and everyone was at risk of elevated cancer risk due to toxic air.
As a Result, In the Environmental racism community the whites, government and high income payers need to stop placing these polluted dumps in the black and Hispanic area because everyone is getting sick. It’s not right just because they don't live in the high rated community, and they're not the same skin color doesn’t mean they don’t care. Pollution (Toxic Waste) needs to STOP! At the end of the day, we're all
humans.
