Ephesians 6
Earlier in Ephesians 6, instruction is given by Paul on children obeying their parents. Ephesians 6:4 addresses specifically the fathers of the children, but I believe it is both of the parents' responsibility for how they raise the children. “Fathers are commanded not to agitate or irritate their child. The Greek word is parorgizete, which implies exasperation or frustration. In practice, this means advoiding unfair and cruel behavior, or blatant favoritism. Godly fathers are not to push their children toward anger. Anger can sometimes be a healthy emotion, yet can often lead to sin.”
Proverbs 22:6 says to “start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”. I believe this bible verse is relevant
