Jonas felt the snow at his feet and the soft warm little person that was nudging his head on his chest. Gabriel. He softly talked to the little boy, “It’s gonna be okay buddy, alright? Just trust me we’re gonna be just fine shh” Gabe wasn’t crying, but he looked sad, Jonas tried to compress all the memories of joy he had left in him into Gabriel. He smiled a bit. Good.
