Equality may not be achievable to others because they think that they should choose the people they socialize with based on skin color, and it’s not right but they might have that mindset because of their parents drilling it into their brain or life so their stuck with it.The fact that the 14th amendment covers African Americans and slavery, it may bug others because it’s allowing them to be safe and they may feel like their trying to only protect them. Amendment 8 states that no cruel and unusual punishment shall be laid upon anybody. The cops or government may not like the fact that they aren’t allowed to arrest someone because of their skin color or sexuality, this amendment protects them from doing that. Some people believe that equality can’t be achieved through the constitution, and this may be because their parents or earlier generation told them what they need to believe and strictly enforced it so now they’re only open to one main idea and that’s what they want no one else’s opinion. All the amendments cover everyone not just one specific person and it’s not just based on the skin color, or sexuality, or anything like that. If the constitution wasn’t gonna help anybody then it wouldn’t have been approved to begin. Everyone has the same rights in the end everyone is treated equally no one should be treated with less respect just because of a feature or characteristic on them that someone else doesn’t like. Without some of these amendments there would still be slavery and discrimination throughout the whole country. These amendments protect everybody but specific people are just too arrogant to realize that it’s helping them in the end. If we all work towards the same thing we can attain that but some people aren’t willing to try so until that day we’re gonna have to keep trying. If the Constitution didn’t exist where would we be? Would we still be going through some of the things we used to? People need to understand that the Constitution is here for a guideline and we should follow it. If we couldn’t achieve equality based on the Constitution there would be no point in writing or making
