The work station guidelines that were applied were:
1- To avoid fixed work posture and falls :
The fixed work posture is about standing and how it affects our spine and what should we use to reduce its effects. Falling is very dangerous and may cause unintentional injury deaths, and we should eliminate most of fall causes in our facility
2- Reducing the musculoskeletal disorder :
This is related to reduce injuries of the body during the working hours, and it will be discussed by the guidelines below.
3- Setting the work height at the 50 mm below the elbow.
Having the wrong work height may cause back injuries because of the stress.
4- Furnish every employee with adjustable chair.
Which have to include seats, back rests, and arm rests.
5- Use the feet as well as the hand
6- Use gravity m not opposing it.
Lifting must be avoided by making forward or horizontal movements.
7- Use 2-hands rather than 1-hand motion.
8- Pivot motions about the elbow.
9- Using the preferred hand.
