POSTURE:
Adjust chair height so that your feet are flat on the floor. Keep your wrist posture neutral. Change your posture regularly or stand
Increase in physical capabilities, decrease serious health issues
TEMPERATURE:
Maintain a temperature of 21 to 25 degrees Celsius but also be aware of the season, clothing worn, BMI, Age, Climate and or Humidity that may affect employees
Increase in comfort and overall wellbeing
NOISE:
Close office doors and keep cubicle chatter respectful and discreet, have a separate area for conferences etc.
Increase in concentration - decreased distractions
LIGHT:
Use an incandescent light bulb and position in a reflected area to reduce shadows or glare a window in view can also help
Increases comfort, accuracy and reduces eye strain
DESK:
Keep your monitor between 20 and 40 inches (50 and 100 centimeters) from your face. Adjust monitor so that the center sits at eye level. Place your keyboard so that your upper arms hang vertically. Keep your keyboard at an acceptable height. Place mouse near keyboard. Arrange items within sight and reach
LAYOUT, FLOOR PLAN AND TRAFFIC PATTERNS:
Use a 10’ by 10’ cubicle space, use prewired cubicles and plug in to individual outlets try to position cubicles under existing light fixtures without blocking windows where ever possible.
