Error 651 Case Study
Solve Error 651 Problem:
There comes an error usually when we people are trying to share our broadband connection. The error is about Err0r 651. Full form of error is given below.
Connecting through WAN Miniport (PPPOE)
It states as Error 651: The modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.
So if you see this error 651, i have a solution for it.

Reason fo the Error 651:
Normally there is no error if you work on your own and don’t try to share your internet broadband connection with some one else. It pops up when you share the broadband connection with some other user.

Type in the below command and Click Enter
“Netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled”
6. Reinstall LAN card drivers
Sometime it has been seen that every settings are fine at their place but still no further work is done up to our desire, in such case uninstalling of drivers and then again installing them is the best way to proceed to it. You can re install drivers easily. It will also refresh the driver installation settings and make you clear from the error of Error 651.
7. Performing Clean Boot
You can perform clean boot, as there also exist some problems in windows services. Performing clean boot will fresh it and let you away from Error 651. But if you don’t have issue with windows services then it is not a helpful way for you
8. Recreate Dialer and Restart ADSL modem router
Hanging of internet connection is also possible that in matter of time your internet connection is hanged. So remove a dialer first and then create a new dialer which has no concern with the previous hanged dialer. By doing so you will fefrain from the Error 651. Restarting the ADSL dialer will solve this issue for you
