Thesis Statement: Even though many people thinks that education doesn’t matters in a country progress and they believe that is better to use the cash in other fields just as industry, I strongly believe that inverting in education is very important in order to get more progress as a country. 2. Body a. Difficulty of getting to school and the cost of schooling. i. Expenses for lunch, uniforms, and examination fees. ii. Because the quality of education is often poor, parents are forced to pay for additional tutoring to enable their children to pass tests. b. Students who serve the country. iii. They give economic support to the country. iv. Improve the economy of the country. c. Education gives people the skills to get them out of poverty and in prosperity. v. Improved Health vi. Political thinking vii. Economic growth 3. Conclusion.

Education in developing countries.
In the developing countries, by general, there had always been problems with education. Sometimes, there are a few amounts of public schools in the country, or there are a lot but the education is terribly bad. The first issue in education in developing countries is that there are no inversions in education and this is because many people think that education is not part of the developing in a country, or maybe is more important to invest in industry, tourism or work issues just as getting more jobs for the citizens. Even though many people thinks that education doesn’t matters in a country progress and they believe that is better to use the cash in other fields just as industry, I strongly believe that inverting in education is very important in order to get more progress as a country.
There are many reasons of the importance of education in a developing country, but first, there are many issues in the actual public education in the countries. First, maybe there could be free tutoring, but there are other issues just as books, didactical material, uniforms and lunch. Another reason of out coming issues of these schools is that tutoring is very poor, and in consequence, parents must pay extra lessons from other teachers that are not free, and that provoke an economic introduction to poverty. It is not surprising that when education investments do not result in adequate learning, or even basic literacy and numeracy, parents do not keep their children in school. (Epstein & Yuthas, 2012). These schools provide neither the financial literacy students will need to manage the meager resources under their control, nor the guidance needed to create opportunities for securing a livelihood or building wealth. In addition, schooling provides little assistance to promote the physical health needed for economic stability and quality of life. (Epstein & Yuthas, 2012).In conclusion, in consequence of the lack of investing in public schools, the service that the give is very poor and provokes an extra-costing in the parents of the students, leading them to poverty.
Those where the issues of the actual public schools, but investing in education will bring positive results to a country progress for many reasons. One of these reasons is that students will serve the country. By this, I mean that the student that these schools are preparing someday will be part of the country, and not as a poor person, but as a worker and tax payer. Citizens who can read, calculate, and think critically have better economic opportunities, higher agricultural productivity, healthier children, and better reproductive health. (The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, 2013). This means that these students who can read, write and think critically will someday have a work and a improved economy. As a worker citizen, he or she will pay taxes and give job to others who need it. In other words, education will create a productive person to the country instead of a parasite to the country. This student who has learned basic things and subjects, will be ready for a life with dignity, and will be ready for two things: or study a career, no matter what kind of career it is, or start getting a job, or maybe both ones. Now, I’m going to give the description of a good citizen according to V.Ryan:
A good citizen is some who respects others and their property.
He/she is helpful and considerate, willing to put others first.
He/she listens to the views of others and thinks about what they have to say.
He/she helps people who are not in a position to help them.
He/she respects the environment and does not damage it in anyway.
He/she works hard.
He/she is well mannered and pleasant.
He/she is always willing to learn.
As it is seeing in this statement, education is not just needed by a person, but it is asked for a person too. This is because people have the inner need of learning inside them.
This is very important because in the last line, there clearly said that a good citizen (a productive person for a country) always wants to learn, and this can include a child too. The other lines are a consequence of education too. In conclusion of this first reason, education forms a good citizen who serves the country in many ways such as: paying taxes, giving job to the ones who need it and being a productive person for the society.
There are other benefits that education brings. One thing that many people don’t see is that education provides health. With education, people are better prepared to prevent disease and to use health services effectively. For example, young people who have completed primary education are less than half as likely to contract HIV as those with little or no schooling. Educated mothers have healthier children. (Gignoux, 2002). The “Ministerio de salud pública del Ecuador” always provides speeches and conversations about some health problems and issues just as the AH1N1, or how to prevent getting pregnant , but the truth is that no matter how many speeches they give, nothing is better that teaching sexual education in schools. You cannot compare one speech with everyday classes, and this is what schools will bring to a country: a smaller amount of diseases provoked by ignorance.
Another positive result that education brings to a developing country is that it brings higher economic growth. According to a study made by The Center for Global Education, in many poor countries, with each additional year of schooling, people earn 10% higher wages. These earnings, in turn, contribute to national economic growth. No country has ever achieved continuous and rapid growth without reaching an adult literacy rate of at least 40%. (2006).An economic growth is basic for a developing country. At the same time, this economic growth is not provoked by the country for the citizen. In contrast, it is a growth made by the citizen for the country, and this is the reason of why education is necessary for the country. Money used in education will someday return to the country retrieved by the same students, who now pay taxes.
This statistics clearly show how important is for a developing country to have a good education.
My last reason in favor of the investing by part of the government in education is that education in a country provides political stabilization. How? Education supports the growth of civil society, democracy, and political stability, allowing people to learn about their rights and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to exercise them. (The Center For Global Education, 2006). Education, in this case, provides this people the appropriate knowledge to have the intelligence to choose an appropriate leader, because if a country has an analphabet rate of 50%, and this country has democracy as the determinate way of choosing a leader, the consequence will be that the 50% of the country will not have the adequate level of intelligence that its required to vote and in consequence, a bad leader will be choose. Because this, if education gets better in a country, more people will be able to vote with the right criteria of a good leader. In conclusion of this last idea, education brings politic stability because it gives the electors the intelligence to vote in a right way.
In conclusion to all my statements, investing in education is very important for a country. But it has many actual problems. One of these problems is that public education is not at all free. There are many issues that you must pay in order to have your kid in these schools. There are many such as uniforms, lunch and books, and this ends in more poverty. But education provides many positives issues in a country. One of this is that education forms citizens that serve and work for the country. By this, I meant that these are citizens who pay taxes and promote the economic growth in a country by working. Another positive issue that education brings is that it improves health by informing kids about common diseases, such as aids and AH1N1. Another benefit that education brings is the economic growth in the country. If a citizen works as it has to be, and pay all his taxes, those taxes will be used by the country to improve other fields, in other words, money invested in education will return someday. This will end in a high economic growth in the country. My last reason was that improving more education in a country will give a mayor political stabilization in the country, because the people will have the intelligence and criteria necessary to choose their leader, and as a consequence of this, political stabilization will be better. For all these reasons, I strongly believe that the countries must improve their inversions in education just because it brings economic success, self-superation, health, economic growth, culture and progress to a country and for it citizens.
