All human beings are born pure, innocent and sinless in nature and spirit irrespective of whatever faith one eventually adopts. How their family influences them and how peers like friends at the playground or school, mold human beings as they grow up. During these various stages all the positive input education, counseling, and influences are necessary for one to be good in nature. From infancy to adulthood if one has undergone through a poor or bad upbringing by his parents, through bad company and influence from among peers and friends coupled with bad influence derived from the print and electronic media then they will acquire all the evil character traits and will be necessary to do all sorts of things evil in nature. Human nature is such that people are born with a love to give and if they don’t have anyone to love they will struggle and snatch from each other and inclinations to defer or yield will die. If people accord with human nature and follow their desires, they inevitably end up struggling, snatching, vicious, and acting with violent abandon. Consequently, only after men are transformed by teachers and by ritual and moral principles do they defer, conform to culture, and abide in good order. Viewed this way, it is obvious that human nature is bad and good is a human product.
So, we humans are neither born good or evil by nature. Both good and evil are actually acquired through the growing up process, and in the same token they can also be discarded if one so wishes. Of course it is much harder to switch from evil to good, whilst it is easier to fall from good to evil.

In an excerpt “Western Diet” from Michael Pollan’s, reminds us of the many different nutritional theories behind the large number of diseases that afflict those who eat the “Western Diet” However, Pollan disagrees with these theories and states that both the food and health industries are partially to blame for this. Pollan claims the food industry is to blame because they use these different nutritional theories to release new products, and that the health industry is to blame because they use these theories to develop new prescriptions and treatment methods. Denis Burkitt suggests that the only way to avoid this vicious cycle is to “go backwards to the diet and lifestyle of our ancestors” (439), which Pollan interprets as “eat foods that are less processed”. While this sounds easy enough, Pollan points out that this is not as straightforward as it sounds and that even factors like soil condition and livestock feed make this concept a daunting task.
