Lots of people choose to immigrant to America to pursue a better life environment, education opportunity, and career success. However, they might different kinds of problems when they first come to America.
Jade, as a 21 years old immigrant from China, moved to United States 7 years ago and she currently live in San Diego. Moreover, she is now studying in UC Irvine as a business information major student.
Since the education system has huge difference between China and America, lots of parents choose to send their children to America to continue their school.

Jade appreciated that. “Even though I enjoy the life here, I truly went through lots of difficulties when I first came as a Chinese international student” She said.
As a foreigner whose native language is not English, it was hard for her to communicate with other Americans fluently and it was also tough to really joined to native students’ life at first.
In addition, Jade told me that she had to write down all the unfamiliar vocabularies and terminologies on her notebook and study hard on that. So she could possibly pass history, science and literature classes.
Moreover, her parents hoped her to get into a good university. “To be honest, I wasn't good at studying.” Jade said, and she added that “But thinking about their expectations have on me, I decided to put efforts into my education.”
In her sophomore year in high school, she challenged herself by taking some honor courses in science and math and she did pretty well. Finally, she graduated as an honor student and got accepted into
