Korean language classes. So, I agree that Korean language teaching is efficient to applicable to Korean-American students. In Korean language education, students are expected to express what they know and knowledge is judged by what they talk in the class. To success of learn to Korean language, students should interact each other and speak out.
In this article used logos, because Korean language class systems were citing the facts and obtain knowledge through study. Like this, the role of teachers for beginners is to give students many opportunities to use Korean, and to make them read a lot of books. I think there are roles of teachers for making a good Korean class.
They have to explain cultural differences, and correct students' pronunciation because it is not easy to change the pronunciations that are acquired at the first stage of Korean learning.
Teachers have to give students interests in Korean, and look for the way motivating students. Students learn a Korean language much better in class, and that will be one of the good environments.
In other regards, however, there are some problems to apply communicative language teaching in Korean classroom. Some characteristics of Korean class are not acceptable for Korean traditional culture and classroom culture. In this article, a large number of students registered for Korean language lessons offered by each states school in the United States. I always think about how many students are good to teach in a language class, but the thing I could insist certainly is too many students are there in Korea language class in schools. I don't know exactly how many students are good for other subjects, but it is too many for Korean language class because there are special gaps according to students' ability such as speed of acquiring or degree of understanding. The gap will be wide among the big number of students, and a teacher will have a hard time to control the level of the
class.
Also, each student has few opportunities to speak in the class because teachers cannot take care of all students, and a class is only fifty minutes in high schools and only forty five minutes in middle schools. Too many students and too limited time are one of the reasons that make students lose their chances to speak. For example, conversation institutes usually impose restrictions on each class's students number from ten to twelve (Each class is fifty minutes a day). A native teacher could talk with all students several times, and correct their Korean. Like these, there are many reasons to reduce the students number in the language class. And I think the reason that teachers focus on mostly grammar, reading, and listening is that there are too many students to teach. In my opinion, from ten to twelve is good because I could take care of all students in the classroom. So, with fewer students in each classroom, the students can get more attention from their teachers.
In conclusion, the main point this article Korean-American students learn to Korean language and students can also study in schools through variety education programs. They also need that having good teachers, textbooks, and classrooms is important and I'm sure the partnership will get better the more teachers and students together. Lastly, I think the most important thing is as in the following. Learning a Korean language is important, but students shouldn't forget the importance of a solid education in one's nati
