to understand why Lennie he does certain things, so instead of being compassionate he becomes irate and affronted. He believes that his life would be of higher-quality without Lennie but in actuality they complement each other. Additionally, when George almost let Lennie drown he realized how much he cares for him. George was going to let Lenny drown out of enmity, but intern he realized he found amity in Lennie. Though he didn’t realize it, he was starting to like Lennie’s quirkiness and goodwill. Though these hardships were difficult for their friendship, George and Lennie were able to work through them and become better friends because of them.
Friendships may go through struggles but it is also very important to enjoy the good times, like George and Lennie did.
For example George and Lennie were always very busy and rarely had a calm moment, but atime they did it was in the clearing. They went to the clearing when they were fleeing from Weed due to the unfortunate things that Lenny did. The clearing was a comely place in the woods where George and Lennie could just talk, enjoy each other’s company and be joyous. Additionally, George and Lennie often found happiness when talking about their dream ranch. They were going to have their own refined ranch and they were going to live off of this abundantly land. Most especially, Lenny was going to tend to the dainty rabbits, which made him immensely excited. Happiness is an important part of life that George and Lennie often found in their dreams.
