"Everything Can Change"
(with Tammin Sursok, Nolan Gerard Funk, Simon Curtis)

Do do do do do do There's no easy way to figure out Why everything we planned gets turned around Nothing accidental, got it down to a "T" So why do things never end the way you think there gonna be If all is for sure is that no one knows that don't be too quick to decide Cause everything can change when you least expect it Can't stop what you can't control Gotta learn how to just let go Everything can change No, you can't perfect it Some things you can't explain Yeah! Ooooooooooooooooooo Do do do do do do do Ooooooooooooooooooo There's no easy way to plan ahead Can't wait to get there, but we end up here instead Anything can happen due to what it does Somethings turned out much better the way it is with us If all is for sure is that no one knows that don't be too quick to decide Cause everything can change when you least expect it Can't stop what you can't control Gotta learn how to just let go Everything can (oh!) change No you can't perfect it Somethings you can't explain Everything can change when you least expect it Can't stop what you can't control Gotta learn how to just let go Everything (yeaah) can change No, you can't profect it Somethings you can't explain Everything can change (everything can change) Can't stop what you can't control Gotta learn how to just let go Everything can change, everything can change www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/victoriajustice/everythingcanchange.html 1/2

Tim McGraw's song, "Live Like You Were Dying" relates to William Bryant's poem, "Thanatopsis" because they both focus on living life to the fullest, so that when death strikes it will be welcomed and not feared. McGraw speaks of a friend who was told recently that he had cancer. Afterwards, instead of becoming fearful of the, "breathless darkness" (Bryant line 12), the man decided to go and accomplish everything he always wanted to do. Unfortunately the man realized that if he were to die then he would not be satisfied with the accomplishments in his life. As a result the man accomplished many great things such as, "skydiving, ...rocky mountain climbing,... [and riding] 2.7 seconds on a bull" (McGraw lines 52-54). In other words the man did…

If I was to cast the poem as a movie I would cast Tichina Arnold as the mother, because she is a vibrate actress and Arnold could easily change from her professional voice to her mom's voice. Most of the role Arnold has played is like the mother in the poem, the mother is strong and professional, but at the same time the mother is loving and cares about her child. Arnold has had roles like Pam on the TV show "Martin" and the mother on the TV show "Everybody Hates Chris" and these characters have the some characteristics of the mother in the poem. The actor that I would cast for the role of the father is Terry Crew. Crew has already played such a role and it was in the TV shoe "Everybody Hates Chris". Crew was a strong, fun, and construction…

I completely agree with this because life is definitely not always going to be how you want it to be. For instance, when you are going through life and it consists of turns and loops but it will always lead back into a positive point through time. When you’re on this so-called “rollercoaster” it is yourself that decides how thrilling or frightening your life is going to be. An example would be Michael Jordan in high school. During Michael Jordan’s sophomore year in high school he got kicked out the basketball team. This would unfortunately be a “down” for him on his “life rollercoaster”. But little did that coach know he became the best basketball player and athlete on the planet. So while Michael was going “up” on his rollercoaster, I know for sure that the coach definitely regretted his decision from cutting him from the team. This type of motivation should inspire the world to do great things and be the best that they can even though someone is telling you that you can’t do it. In other words never give up on what you love doing. Overall everybody has there ups and downs throughout life and when you are in the down part of life just know that there will be loop that will put you back up top of the…

Nothing about life is easy; you work, you try, and sometimes you fail regardless of your efforts. Some people believe in reincarnation, others in some form of an afterlife, and some believe you only have one life. Believing that you’re only able to live one life could benefit the person because they take that idea and they accept it. In that acceptance they choose to live everyday as if it were there last, so that by their last breath they can say they had a good life, even with the many struggles and heartache. Most people live with the belief that we only have one life; although life is a gift with endless possibilities, it's…

Little Bird: Ed Sheeran- A way this can Relate to "to kill a mockingbird" i by saying that if you do reckless things without thinking, you'll often regret the. Like when he says "And its not complete yet, mustn't get our feet wet,
Cause that leads to regret, diving in too soon" he's saying that you need to really plan out and think before diving head over heels in something, and that's exactly what Atticus did.…

    Beloved Essay

In the novel Beloved, Toni Morrison delves into not only her characters' painful pasts, but also the painful past of the injustice of slavery. Few authors can invoke the heart-wrenching imagery and feelings that Toni Morrison can in her novels, and her novel Beloved is a prime example of this. Toni Morrison writes in such a way that her readers, along with her characters, find themselves tangled and struggling in a web of history, pain, truth, suffering, and the past. While many of Toni Morrison's novels deal with aspects of her characters' past lives and their struggles with how to embrace or reject their memories, Beloved is a novel in which the past plays an exceptionally important role. Most often, it is Beloved's main character Sethe whose relationship to the past is examined through her murdered daughter Beloved. However, Paul D's painful past and memories are intricately linked to both Sethe and Beloved and should be examined as well. Paul D's very conscious struggles to suppress his past are represented through a prominent, reoccurring symbol in Morrison's text, and are also mediated through his contact with Sethe's life and past as well as through story telling.…

In today’s modernized world, it is crucial to be able to comprehend and recognize conflicts dealing with racial tensions due to the increased growth of diversity in nations all over the world. Countries like North America are inhabited by people of different backgrounds, cultures, and colors. Since there is intermingling among everyone, the differences between the diverse ethnic backgrounds could stir up trouble which can lead to serious skirmishes like Watts Rebellion in 1965. To prevent and weaken the strength of racial tension, the citizens of the United States must be educated about racial problems before being released into the real world. The best approach towards racial equity begins in the classroom and through literature which is where the book Beloved comes into the picture. Beloved fits ideally into the UCLA principles of community one being “We acknowledge that modern societies carry historical and divisive biases based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation and religion, and we seek to promote awareness and understanding through education and research and to mediate and resolve conflicts that arise from these biases in our communities.”…

When things don't always go our way, we have two choices in dealing with the situations.
