First is how to survive Mr. Peters class ,Mr. Peters is a very interesting man, he will challenge your skills more than anyone else has and your first essay will probably be a 0. You will enjoy his class and hate it at the same time, his bell-ringer, the bellwork, will be challenging and you will not know what to write. Next is what to do and not to do in class, there are a lot of things you should not do in class,like in Ms.
Hill’s class do not play games and talk during her class and do not roll in your chair. In Coach Oakley’s class talk when he is talking and you will be fine. In Coach Davis’s class do all the work he assigns you and listen to the things he is talking about. In Mrs. Wright’s class do not walk around and during labs do not play with the things she gives you. These tips will help keep you out of
trouble.
Lastly is how to make it through in Coach Davis’s class, in his class you work to the bell. He will have “talks” with you and explain life problems going on in the world. Always check your schoology for bellwork and homework. He is strict compared to 7th grade and will challenge you. He will be one of your favorite teachers if you do not get on his bad side.
These tips will help you get through the 8th grade. Some of these tips took awhile to find out and after we found out it really helped us. Mr. Peters and Coach Davis will be the hardest math and english classes you have ever had. You will have fun in 8th grade but it will also be one of the hardest grades. I hope these tips can help you.
