George Zimmerman the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, over a five months time period he repeatedly called the police to report “suspicious” activity and every call he placed for this “suspicious” activity it was a black male each time. In the text it states, “From August 2011 to February 2012, Zimmerman had called police several times to states he deemed as suspicious. All of those reported figures were black males”(Trayvon Martin Biography). This discrimination against African-Americans because of their physical appearances is what Zimmerman was doing when he called the police on black males because they looked suspicious. In addition, Zimmerman saw Trayvon Martin leaving the house to to to the store and he was presumed suspicious by Zimmerman and he called the cops on him. Based on the information in the text, “February 26, Zimmerman saw Martin, who had left the house to purchase skittles and iced tea. From his SUV, Zimmerman called the police department at 7:11 pm to report a “suspicious” guy…”(Trayvon Martin Biography). This connects because he called the police on Trayvon and other black males because of what he looked like. Accordingly, this proves the notion of the blacks being the victim of discrimination because of what they look like and presume to come off
