Average Americans spend at least 11 hours on electronic media ( Richter Felix, Americans use Electronic Media 11+ Hours A Day). This number of hours is not small when it is compare out of 24 hours; it is almost half a day being wasted on electronic media. American Culture is spending too much time on trivia, distraction trying to feed its appetite for entertainment. It causes tons of problems dealing from health to society issues. It is tough for an ordinary person to maintain balances in this 21st century but it is also easy to do so.
