Essay On Baroque Art Analysis

Within my first semester of my sophomore year of highschool I have encountered projects that have helped me increase my presentation skills. The project that was the most help was the Baroque art analysis presentation. Within my previous year I would get nervous and anxious and sometimes speed through my presentations and read off the slides. The project I had for biology in my freshman year was a bit troublesome and I would stutter a lot with words such as like, um and yeah. After the project I was able to increase my memorization skill so that I wouldn't have to read off the slides, this helps because it allows me to look at the audience more often and be able to speak more clearly and not stutter since I knew everything that I was going
This project really helped me recognize different perspectives because I had to research the different kinds of social injustices. Before the project I was only aware of the perspectives that had come to me by my surroundings, in other words from people who were of the hispanic ethnic group. Beforehand I believed that in recent times, Mexicans had dealt with most of the discrimination and had the worst of it all. After the project, I was able to recognize different perspectives due to the fact that I had to research social injustices that impacted everyone and not just one race. For example, I figured that white people rarely ever did face any kind of social injustices, but that's not the case, they actually have large numbers of white people recorded who have claimed to have faced discriminations or have problems such as poverty. Being able to recognize perspectives is important because it allows me to have a more open mind set on different topics that I may have had a bias towards. In the future, I can use this skill to better collaborate with people who have different views and morals from topics that I am aware
