I want my art to make the viewer feel something, anything. I want them to back entranced by what they are viewing and make a connection to it, just like I did to Bob Ross paintings as a child. I am inspired by artist like Vincent Van Gogh and Paul McCarthy. My personal style does not reflect their in anyway but they both create artworks that make people feel and evaluate their experiences as humans. Van Gogh’s works have a way of making people feel happiness and joy despite the dark nature his works can be, he brings a lightness to darkness of the world. Then in contrast you have Paul McCarthy known for his intense, disgusting, hyper-sexualized, and political piece of art. He is a master of showing viewers the ugliness and hypocrisy in the world. Despite the negativeness of McCarthy’s works he makes the viewers feel something about their experience as humans in which the haven’t felt
