These particular pythons are known as private animals and are generally only seen with the male python during springs mating season. They are also capable of laying near 100 eggs while incubating the eggs for two to three months and they will keep their eggs warm shivering their muscles close to them. Their hatchlings are 18 inches long and the longest one was captured in South Florida was 18’8 inches. Burmese Pythons are beautiful snakes with a life span of being able to live up to 15 to 25 years.
