Constantine and Ashoka have been two of the most influential leaders in history, but were also the center of controversy. The biggest achievement of these two leaders was their conversion to a different religion and their increased attempts to make their new religion universal in the country, despite the reluctance of some subjects. This religion was different from the Asokavadana that was common among the Ashoka community. Both societies show a significant amount of loyalty to their leaders as they willingly followed their footsteps and converted to respective religions following their leaders (Shah, 2011).
